Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Akshara EduTech Private Limited ("we", "us"), whose details appear in section 14. They cover the Smart Career Hub mobile app and the website at aksharaedutech.com (together, "the Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

2. Who may use it

3. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.

Account sharing

Sharing your login so several people can use one purchase is the most common form of abuse we see, and it is not allowed. If we detect an account being used by multiple people at once, we may suspend it without a refund.

4. What you are buying

When you purchase a course you receive access to that course's tests for the period stated at checkout — typically 6 or 12 months. You are not buying a permanent copy, and you may not download, redistribute or resell the content.

Access ends when the period expires. We will normally warn you before that happens, but it remains your responsibility to track it.

5. Prices and payment

For cancellations and refunds, see our Refund Policy.

6. Fair use during tests

Tests only mean something if they are taken honestly. While attempting a test you must not:

Where we find this has happened, we may void the attempt, remove you from leaderboards, or suspend the account. For a first, clearly minor incident we will normally warn you first.

7. Content and intellectual property

Questions, explanations, layouts, branding and code in the Service belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own exam preparation and nothing else. Commercial use, redistribution and republication are not permitted without our written consent.

Some questions are drawn from publicly released past papers of examining bodies such as NTA. Those remain the property of their respective owners; we claim no ownership over them.

8. What we do not promise

Please read this carefully

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running at all times but cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, technical faults and events outside our control can interrupt it.

If a paid service is unavailable for an extended period through our fault, contact us and we will extend your access by a fair amount.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost opportunities, missed admissions or exam outcomes.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that:

Where the breach is not serious, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to put it right first. You may close your own account at any time — see Delete account.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Satara, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Before going to court, please write to us — nearly everything is resolved faster by email.
